About Us
With over a hundred years of collective experience in the martial arts, our team of instructors teach traditional Shito-Ryu karate and Okinawan weapons techniques.
Our Story
As direct students of Mabuni Kenzo Soke, Sensei McGuinness (Hanshi) and Sensei Arrighi (Hanshi) can trace their karate lineage back to the founder of Shito-Ryu, Mabuni Kenwa. With their chief instructors, Sensei Erik Svenson (Shihan) and Sensei Andrew McGuinness, we offer traditional budo training, consistent with the teachings of the founders of karate.
